Set in the heart of the Mars-like landscape of the Wadi Rum Protected Area, Memories Aicha Luxury Camp is glamping rather than camping: 55 dome-style and canvas tents with air conditioning, en suite bathrooms and Wi-Fi, the geodesic domes with transparent panels for stargazing from bed and the canvas tents with private terraces facing the sandstone mountains. Meals are taken in the camp restaurant, which ranges from steaks and pasta to Arabian grills and Bedouin-style themed dinners with music, and the days are given over to jeep tours of the desert, sunsets from the rocks and the campfire and lounge tents at night.
